SMCCU Supports its Volunteers on Kilimanjaro Trek for Charity

The SMCCU in Partnership with Clyde & Co. held a private event sponsoring Shurooq Zainal who will be traveling this year to Kilimanjaro to climb its peak for charity. The climb  is meant to raise awareness and funds for SkillForce (click here to read more about the charity). If Shurooq completes the challenge she will be only the second women from Dubai to have conquered the mountain.

21 participants from across Clyde & Co’s international offices will be attempting to scale the summit of  Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain on the Africa continent (5,895 m).  The cost of the trip is being covered by the participants,  and SMCCU was keen to do its part in promoting this charitable challenge and supporting our volunteers at the centre. Shurooq will be one of a number of Emiratis that have taken the Trek.
